自然な造形と樹皮を残した杉材や、かつてここにあった古民家の木製格子戸を、現代的なデザインのスクリーンに用いました。木のぬくもりや、この地での生活の記憶が感じられる、コンパクトで居心地の良い空間です。
Cedar in natural shapes and with the bark left on, and wooden lattice doors from an old farmhouse that once stood here, have been used to create a contemporary screen. Guests can sense the warmth of wood and the memories of how people once lived here in a compact yet comfortable space.

A chest and lattice doors once used in the settlement have been used together to create a contemporary handbasin that symbolizes this room design. The high-set window over the tatami mat bed space lets in the morning light, bracing and clear.
